It is the story of Florentino Ariza (Javier Bardem) and Firmina Daza (Giovanna Mizogorno). When they both meet through a window, love is at first sight. But when one of them refuses to complete that relationship, the other devotes much of his adult life to physical affairs in order to escape the crisis.
