The film captures the story of a young Japanese woman, Kayaako's sister, who holds the key to stopping the Caiaku curse. Through that surprising key, that woman in this part of The Grudge is a perfect job. The woman travels to a haunted apartment building in Chicago to stop the curse of Caiaco once and without hesitation.

August 10, 2011 The Grudge 3 isn't perfect, and sometimes the film feels like it's trying a little too hard to emulate Shimizu's work. Ultimately though, the 3rd act left me feeling like the series had finally come to a satisfying resolution.
