The film covers the story of a mysterious biotechnology company that is on an official mission by sending mercenaries (Willem Dafoe) from Europe to the Tasmanian wilderness during that period. The company is trying to cost the man to hunt down the only remaining thiacin in the world that has its own genetic code, the secret of a dangerous weapon through which the world’s path can change.
