The Omega Man

It is the story that looks quite different, as it is an experimental vaccine, since Dr. Robert Neville is the only survivor of the end-of-the-world war he fought with biological weapons. During that very difficult period, the plague caused by the war killed anyone other than a few hundred mutilated persons who turned into completely different people. Things seem to get worse during the day, wandering around the empty city. At night, he resists crowds of bloodthirsty intruders who start at a dangerous stage.

May 09, 2005 Peppered with some sharp, even amusing dialogue, the story temporarily shelves the heavy allegory and slips into good, slam-bang suspense. But it doesn't last.
