The movie tells of two Christian missionaries Roy (Woody Harrelson) and Jesse (Emily Mortimer) who decided to take a train from Beijing to Moscow after returning from China. This journey turns into a different path as the train journey becomes a hoax chase and they both face death and terror due to a mysterious pair of other travelers.
