The film tells the story of a young boy trying to warn his family and friends that the evil trolls his late grandfather used to talk about. There is still hope, but no one believes this child and what he talks about, as he and his sister are sent to the mysterious town of Nilbog, where vegetable imps are chasing his family. They seek to turn them into plants so that they can eat them at that moment
