In a dramatic atmosphere, the movie follows an officer of the Spanish Crown called Don Diego de Zama. Zama always wants to be transferred to a better place so he has written many letters to the King to transfer him. But no reply from the King and Zama is still in his small town. As he getting bored from waiting, he joins a group of soldiers chasing a dangerous bandit.
