The series revolves around the journalist McNamara who tried to reach that murderer or violent perpetrator, who was dubbed 'The Golden State Killer'. This murderer, who caused great controversy, appeared to scare California in the late 1970s and early 1980s, committing 50 sexual assaults at home and ten murders.
