It's a series of criminal events embodied by Kai Jin, a young chef in San Francisco's Chinatown. After that strong confrontation, Kai became the Wu Assassin using his martial arts skills to restore supernatural powers. That task seems to be against five modern-day criminals who threaten to destroy the world long ago.
