Ferran Brooks

Ferran Brooks is an award winning writer, director & cinematographer. His work on 2012 granted him a "Panavision's New Filmmaker" award at Cannes 2012 . He was also in the finalist "Top Ten" shortlisted of "Your Big Break" curated by Peter Jackson. Shortlisted also with "Wordless" in Sir Ridley Scott's "Parallel Lines". As filmmaker has a unique educational background having been taught in classical history, literature and anthropology. Some of his creations, like «The Soul of the Cities» have been displayed in the Pompidou Centre and Bibliothèque nationale de France. Awards and screenings in Film Festivals as Venezia, Cannes, Roma, Mexico DF, etc. Has made adaptations of classics to the Theater ( "1492 the Conquest") and Graphic Novel. The only spanish writer in the volume of homage to the victims of 11-S published by Time/Warner in 2001.
