Laura Butler is a New-York-based singer-songwriter, actress, and model who reached #1 in the folk charts on ReverbNation.com, a site that focuses on the independent music industry. In October, 2010, her music video "Worth It" was screened and well-received at the 1st Annual Astoria/LIC International Film Festival.She has performed in venues all over New York, recently releasing her first album, "Crushing Blue Cupcakes," described as a jazzy-folk delicious blend with the warmth of Norah Jones, uniqueness of Joni Mitchell, phrasing of Billie Holiday, versatility of Judy Garland, and poignancy of Edith Piaf.
