You know when we were first getting started with filming in Central Florida back in 2001 -- I was inspired by Robert Rodriguez and what he did with El Mariachi. To make such a great film with just $7,000. He's an amazing director and a true visionary. When I made Alone and Restless with a similar amount of money -- I was striving to create another memorable feature film like Mariachi. Although, Alone and Restless is a completely different film in another genre -- I'm very proud of the results. I also have to give Rodriguez credit for proving that a good feature film could produced on such a limited budget. It was like a proof of concept -- you know, a business model for all those rising independent filmmakers could use to get started with their career. Show less «
