A versatile actor with a "chameleon-like" voice, Soule played the male lead characters in plays presented on the evening radio show "First Nighter" for 9 years beginning in 1943. The First Nighter troupe moved to Hollywood, where Soule stayed and eventually worked his way into television. Show less «
