Richard was born 14th June 1967 in Hove, Sussex. He trained as an actor at LAMDA.In his early career he appeared in the World Premiere of Kay Adshead's 'Ravings; Dreamings' at the Manchester Library Theatre with Julie Kate Olivier and in 1995 appeared in Tom Stoppard's 'Indian Ink' at the Aldwych Theatre.In recent years he has appeared more on TV and in Film. One of his more notable roles on television was as Ryall in Stephen Poliakoff's award winning 'Dancing On The Edge' with Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Goodman and Jacqueline Bisset. Recent film credits include 'Rogue One A Star Wars Story', the Oscar nominated '45 Years' 'Sherlock Holmes; A Game Of Shadows', 'The Theory Of Everything', 'Burnt' with Bradley Cooper directed by John Wells.
