Sahlima origins are East, North-West Africa and was raised in Ottawa, Paris, New York City, Washington, D.C/Maryland. She is truly a global citizen and artist. With her mother's diplomatic career with the United Nations, she was able to travel and live in various countries around the world. Sahlima began her performance career when she entered and won the title of a beauty queen in Africa. Then as a fashion model, she has lived in Italy, France, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Brussels and Indonesia to name a few. She was keen to pursue her love of acting and engaged in a serious acting course at Lee Strasburg Theatre Institute in New York City, Second City Improv in Los Angles and The Actor's Studio Drama School, MFA program. Sahlima has been cast in a variety of roles and projects due to her strong work ethics to her craft and diverse language skills. She is Fluent in: French, Italian, Haussa, Dharma basic Arabic and Spanish.
