Father and son are on a spaceship which crashes and gets trapped in earth isolated, because quite a while ago civilisation deserted the place to evade Cataclysm. Cypher gets critically wounded so it’s up to Kitai to go through the risky journey so he is able to send an SOS. They both need to prepare for a fight if they want to return back to where they came from.
