The series begins with exciting comedic and criminal scenes, with a strong look at what the Nevada police do. The series begins when a child in an area explodes with an illegal detonator, officers are placed on the line to rid Renault of smuggled fireworks, a seemingly controversial issue in Reno, where police officers are engaged in many tasks to install safety and security in Renault.
